Payment Policy
Last Updated: 21/07/2025
Welcome to Whisdr! This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Whisdr platform in relation to payments. “Members” refers to users who publish, offer, search for, or book services through Whisdr. “Service Providers” are Members who offer services, and “Guests” are Members who book services.
Whisdr is a trading name of Kooz Platforms Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, with company number 16462133 and registered office at 338A Regents Park Road, Office 3 and 4, London, N3 2LN, United Kingdom.
In this Policy, “you” and “your” refer to any Member of the Whisdr platform (including both Guests and Service Providers). “We,” “us,” “our,” or “Whisdr” refers to the Whisdr entity.
By using Whisdr, you agree to the terms outlined in this Payment Policy. Please read it carefully, as it explains how payments are processed, your responsibilities, and how your personal and financial data will be handled.
1. Whisdr as an Online Platform
Whisdr is an independent platform that allows Service Providers to offer their services and Guests to discover and book them. Whisdr is not a party to the service agreement between the Guest and the Service Provider and does not provide the services itself. Instead, Whisdr facilitates the booking process and communication between both parties.
Any agreement formed through the platform is made directly between the Guest and the Service Provider. Whisdr is not responsible for the delivery or outcome of these services, except where clearly stated in this Policy.
Whisdr collects an initial payment on its own behalf as part of the booking process. This payment helps secure the reservation and supports coordination. All remaining payments for the services are made directly between the Guest and the Service Provider, outside the Whisdr platform.
2. Payment Information
When you make a payment through the Whisdr platform, we may collect and store personal information such as your name, address, payment method details, and other relevant transaction data. This data will only be used for the purposes of processing your payment and facilitating your transaction.
We work with third-party payment processors to handle the financial transactions. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. Whisdr does not store or process your credit card details directly, but we take reasonable steps to ensure that payment data is handled securely.
3. Guest Terms
As a Guest, you are responsible for:
- Providing Clear Agreement: When booking a service through Whisdr, you must confirm the service details, dates, and payment terms as agreed with the Service Provider.
- Payment: Once the agreement is confirmed, you are required to make an initial payment to secure your booking. This amount is part of the total service cost. Any additional charges related to your bank or payment provider (e.g., transfer fees, currency conversion costs) are your responsibility. The remaining balance must be paid directly to the Service Provider before the service begins.
- Booking Confirmation: After making the initial payment, you will be able to view the details of your agreement in the "Agreements" section of your User Dashboard.
- Cancellation and Refund: You have the right to cancel and request a refund based on the terms set by the Service Provider. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting any applicable bank transaction fees. By proceeding with the payment, you accept these terms. Please make sure of the refund policy offered by the Service Provider when making an agreement.
4. Service Provider Terms
As a Service Provider, you agree to:
- Agreement Clarity: You are responsible for ensuring that the services, dates, and payment terms are clearly agreed upon with the Guest before confirming a booking.
- Initial Payment Handling: Whisdr collects an initial payment from the Guest as part of the total agreed service cost. This amount is collected in Whisdr’s own name and is not held on your behalf. Whisdr may issue an invoice to you in accordance with your membership plan and internal billing process.
- Payment Flow: All other payments related to the service must be made directly from the Guest to you. Whisdr does not collect, hold, or transfer service fees beyond the initial payment.
- Guest Cancellations: If the Guest cancels the Agreement, any refund or retention of the initial payment will follow the terms you have provided. Please ensure these terms are clearly communicated to the Guest. For more details, refer to the Terms of Service.
5. Deductions and Invoicing
Whisdr may invoice Service Providers for a coordination and platform usage amount in accordance with their membership plan. This amount is deducted from the initial payment collected from the Guest.
Details of your membership plan and applicable deductions will be shared with you upon approval of your registration.
6. Security of Payment Data
Whisdr is committed to ensuring that your personal and payment data is secure. We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data during transactions. However, as we rely on third-party payment processors, we cannot guarantee the security of data once it leaves our platform.
We also encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party payment processors to understand how they handle your data.
7. Retention and Deletion of Data
We retain payment information for the purpose of completing transactions and maintaining records of payments. This information will be stored securely and only for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes. Once this period ends, your payment data will be securely deleted or anonymized.
As a Guest or Service Provider, you may request to access, modify, or delete your personal and payment data by contacting Whisdr's support team at info@whisdr.com.
8. Third-Party Payment Processors
Whisdr uses third-party payment processors to handle transactions. These third-party processors are responsible for securely processing your payments, and their own privacy policies govern how they handle your personal data. Whisdr is not responsible for the privacy practices or security of third-party payment processors.
9. Compliance with Applicable Laws
Whisdr complies with all relevant data protection laws and financial regulations, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other applicable local or international laws. We take steps to ensure that both your payment data and personal information are processed in accordance with these laws.
10. Changes to Payment Policy
Whisdr reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through notifications on the platform. By continuing to use the Whisdr platform after changes are made, you accept the revised Payment Policy.
By using Whisdr, you agree to abide by the Payment Policy and accept the terms and conditions outlined above. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to contact us at info@whisdr.com.
