Payment Policy

Last Updated: 25/04/2025

Welcome to Whisdr! This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Whisdr platform in relation to payments. “Members” refers to users who publish, offer, search for, or book services through Whisdr. “Service Providers” are Members who offer services, and “Guests” are Members who book services.

Whisdr is a trading name of Kooz Platforms Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, with company number 16462133 and registered office at 338A Regents Park Road, Office 3 and 4, London, N3 2LN, United Kingdom.

In this Policy, “you” and “your” refer to any Member of the Whisdr platform (including both Guests and Service Providers). “We,” “us,” “our,” or “Whisdr” refers to the Whisdr entity.

By using Whisdr, you agree to the terms outlined in this Payment Policy. Please read it carefully, as it explains how payments are processed, your responsibilities, and how your personal and financial data will be handled.

1. Whisdr as an Online Platform

Whisdr serves as a platform where Service Providers can offer their services and Guests can search for and book those services. Whisdr is not a party to the actual service agreements between Guests and Service Providers and does not provide the services itself. Instead, Whisdr facilitates communication and payment processing between the parties.

Any agreement formed between a Guest and a Service Provider is made directly between those parties, and Whisdr is not responsible for the performance or fulfillment of those agreements, except as explicitly stated in this Policy.

Whisdr acts solely as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of the Service Provider, for the purpose of accepting payments from Guests.

2. Payment Information

When you make a payment through the Whisdr platform, we may collect and store personal information such as your name, address, payment method details, and other relevant transaction data. This data will only be used for the purposes of processing your payment and facilitating your transaction.

We work with third-party payment processors to handle the financial transactions. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. Whisdr does not store or process your credit card details directly, but we take reasonable steps to ensure that payment data is handled securely.

3. Guest Terms

As a Guest, you are responsible for:

  • Providing Clear Agreement: You must confirm the date, services requested, and payment terms when booking a service through Whisdr.
  • Payment: Once a mutual agreement is made with the Service Provider, an agreement will be created, and you are required to pay the agreed-upon deposit amount. The payment you make does not include transaction fees that may be charged by your bank or payment platform (e.g., transfer fees, commissions, currency exchange fees). These are your responsibilities. Remaining Balance will be paid directly to the Service Provider before receiving service(s).
  • Booking Confirmation: After paying your deposit, you will be able to view the details of your agreement in the "Agreements" section of your User Dashboard.
  • Cancellation and Refund: You have the right to cancel and request a refund based on the terms set by the Service Provider. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting any applicable bank transaction fees. By proceeding with the payment, you accept these terms. Please make sure of the refund policy offered by the Service Provider when making an agreement.

4. Service Provider Terms

As a Service Provider, you agree to:

  • Clear Agreement: Ensure that you have a clear understanding and agreement with the Guest regarding the services, dates, and payment.
  • Service Fee: Whisdr charges a service fee based on your membership plan. This fee will be deducted from the total payment you receive for the service provided.
  • Payment Process: After the services received by the Guest are completed, any remaining balance, after deducting Whisdr's service fee from the paid deposit, will be transferred to your bank account.
  • Cancellation by Guest: In the event that the Guest cancels the agreement, the refund will be processed in accordance with the refund option stated in the agreement. As per the refund option, if there is a remaining balance after the refund is processed, it will be transferred to your bank account after deducting Whisdr's service fee from the remaining amount.

5. Deductions and Service Fees

Whisdr charges a service fee on each payment made by Guests to Service Providers. The fees depend on the Service Provider's membership plan. You will be notified of your membership plan once your registration is approved.

Whisdr reserves the right to change these fees, which will take effect for future transactions once the changes are announced.

6. Security of Payment Data

Whisdr is committed to ensuring that your personal and payment data is secure. We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data during transactions. However, as we rely on third-party payment processors, we cannot guarantee the security of data once it leaves our platform.

We also encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party payment processors to understand how they handle your data.

7. Retention and Deletion of Data

We retain payment information for the purpose of completing transactions and maintaining records of payments. This information will be stored securely and only for as long as necessary to fulfill these purposes. Once this period ends, your payment data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

As a Guest or Service Provider, you may request to access, modify, or delete your personal and payment data by contacting Whisdr’s support team at info@whisdr.com.

8. Third-Party Payment Processors

Whisdr uses third-party payment processors to handle transactions. These third-party processors are responsible for securely processing your payments, and their own privacy policies govern how they handle your personal data. Whisdr is not responsible for the privacy practices or security of third-party payment processors.

9. Compliance with Applicable Laws

Whisdr complies with all relevant data protection laws and financial regulations, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other applicable local or international laws. We take steps to ensure that both your payment data and personal information are processed in accordance with these laws.

10. Changes to Payment Policy

Whisdr reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through notifications on the platform. By continuing to use the Whisdr platform after changes are made, you accept the revised Payment Policy.

By using Whisdr, you agree to abide by the Payment Policy and accept the terms and conditions outlined above. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to contact us at info@whisdr.com.
